Slow Landing

Postby linacus » Thu Mar 31, 2005 5:36 am

When I am landing at all airports on my flight sim, the sim jumps and stops. The texture disappears and everything just stops. Is there anything i can do to prevent this?

Being a little more clear on the subject would help us in help you. ;)

What do you mean FS jumps and stops? Does it hangs? Do you have a CTD thereafter? What Does Windows say about the FS9 process? Do you have to reboot the PC?

With as little as you told I can only suppose a problem with either the video card drivers or the DirectX. Try reinstalling both with the latest versions available.

And a final question what video card do you have?
Does this only happen when your landing or all the time.
If its all the time, do you have a antivirus scanner or ad ware scanner?
Have you a virus scan?

All these may be a possibility. Because i had a simliar problemo.

Thanks
