Hello Alrot
Long time no hear.
the call outs are part of a gauge and it is called just that FPDAcallout. If you search AVSIM for callout* you will find several there. They are designed for a specific air craft and they should be in your main fs sound folder.
If you have never down loaded a plane that had these sounds then you will not have them. They only come with some downloads. Before you download any make sure you do a search for them just in case they are somewhere they do not belong

If it's a gauge it should be possible to use it on any panel you wish

i believe you are talking about GPWS (ground proximity warning system)....

it is a gauge, which goes in the aircraft

im surprised your trying to use the GWPS, its a rather annoying and distracting  feature which I make sure I dont install, everyones different i guess though.

i find the altitude gauge is enough.

...have a Google or search SimV etc for  fpda_a330_callout.zip   There is a gauge file to put in the gauges folder and a bunch of sound files which go in the main sounds folder, there are others out there too..........as willg says it gets to you after a while...jumps out at you when you are concentrating on something else......commoner  ;D

Hiya

Take a look at a few panel downloads - eg 747 A320/330 that kind of thing. A heck of a lot come with versions of the gaug you're looking for. The GPWS gauges I've seen (and got) give both ground proximity warnings and alt callouts on the approach but you can also just get alt callout gauges which do not have a visual display on the panel at all, just a small transparent sqaure which you usually place over to one corner of the panel, but give the calllout sounds on approach.

I tend to agree with Commoner. Both get a bit annoying once the novelty has worn off and I have been known to remove them from panels
