Postby littleport2003 » Tue Mar 22, 2005 12:57 pm

hi

i have recently just reinstalled FS after a hard harddrive change, but now the sounds change speeds i know this sounds stange but its true ATC can sometime be very fast and squeaky and other time it can take about a min just for act to say im clear for takeoff, this also effects the engine sound in the same way. I never had any problems like this on the old hardrive. has anybody got any ideas how to sort it out? ???

thx matt

If the drive you changed had all of your drivers on it you might have to reinstall your drivers.
I would first click on start then on control panel then on system then on hard ware then on device manger .
Make sure nothing is flagged in here if it is you need to fix it
This will tell you if something is not operatimg right or is missing a driver.

When you open device manager Your looking for little yellow triangles with a exclamation point in the middle. That indicates a conflict or even uninstalled drivers or drivers that arent performing the way they should.
