Visual Flight Path

Postby willg » Sun Mar 20, 2005 11:01 am

Can someone explain how to get this to work, I've lined up with the runway, set my Nav 1 to the VOR at the airport, then clicked enable visual flight path and nothing. I've tried all possible solutions but absolutely nothing.

by the way, how can I get this to work for ALL airfields, as It seems you need the airport to have a blue vor symbol on it on the map.

Not all airports will have this.  When setting your NAV frequency for this, it cant just be any VOR station, it has to be an actual ILS frequency for a particular runway you are flying.  Just find out that frequency, set it, and turn your course knob on the HSI (or OBS knob) to the runway course (ie: runway 34 will be 340 degree course).

Hope this helps :)
Cheers,
