Water mods part 2

Postby ctjoyce » Mon Mar 07, 2005 9:56 pm

Ok so i got the "morewtr.zip" From Avsim and it looks pretty good, but i dont get the really nice reflections. I Did exactly what the instructions said (and backed everything up) then set all my graphics sliders to the highest they could be. Is it my comp (running intagraded graphics :-XDell4600C :-X) or did i do something wrong. Also lets talk about replacement sky textures.......................

Its your onboard graphics

You need a video card capable of DirectX 9....latest ATI Radeons and I think a few nVidias support it...

....mmm...Hi ctj...not sure what you mean by "reflections"...if you are looking to see a sort of inverted image in the water of say a floatplane or large clouds or buildings as you would in Microsoft Links Golf......then you won't...Fs9 doesn't do that....best you will get is sun or moon glare and waves breaking on the shore..sorry but that's how it is....commoner ;)
