FSUIPC

Postby Mistral » Sun Mar 06, 2005 4:42 pm

I just installed this concorde package i brought from Koch simulation, but it has come with this program that is really messing up my FS. The program is called FSUIPC, and from what i have gathered it is something to do with logging weather data. Has anyone seen it before??? Any help would be much appretiated.

Cheers,
Mike

Weather is just one of the things that FSUIPC does.

It also provides access to FS9 in-flight data for external programs and such. Some gauges, like the F18 Radar gauge, need FSUIPC installed.

If you have the proper version for FS9, there should be no problems.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

And I used it to map out a button on my yoke to act as a push to talk button! :-)

Mistral,

FSUIPC has almost NO impact on framerates.  SOmething is not set up correctly.

Maybe it is the AIRCRAFT that is chewing up your framerates.... not FSUIPC.

Go to Peter Dowson's website and download the latest version of the program.  if the aircraft in question is "registered" by the aircraft producer... then you don;t have to pay for the program.  If not... for fs2004, it is payware.

best,

.............john

PS:  I use FSUIPC for simpit functions.
