Need File DLL

Postby hangerman » Fri Mar 04, 2005 4:15 pm

Hi all,

Help!! While I was trying to reinstall FS9, I got the message that it was unable to read or find SetupENU.dll on disk 1. Looking at it you can see that there are a few scratches so that must be the problem.

Does anyone know where I can get just the dll file, SetupENU.dll for FS 9 or does Microsoft sell just disk 1?

Tried loading up the same file from FS2002 and then put in FS9 disk and it found it but wants to load FS2002!

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

hangerman

I read somewhere in these forums before that Microsoft will replace broken discs. Don't know if they do it for free though. But you can always try contacting them.

Good luck

What could do is (if you have enough space on your hard drive) insert disc one into your drive then access my computer right click the drive with the disc inserted and click explore, then copy & paste all the contents to your hard drive and then burn a backup of disc one and use the backup.

If you explore the disc and the file you want isn't there i'll gladly email it to you.

Hi :),

Thanks sir_crashalot. I thought of that too, but I never could locate the information. I started to send Microsoft an email for support since this is a legally registered product, but they wanted $35 just to provide an email support answer.

Fooled them though! Went down to the local Wal-mart and purchased FS 2004 for $29.95 so that solved my problem!

And thank you too the_echo. Kind offer and suggestion. Problem was that the dll file on the disk itself was damaged so it would have done me no good to try and put onto hard drive. Repurchasing the program did solve the problem though.

Thanks again for the help and support guys and hope we talk again sometime.
