Welcome, bluebird121.
Took a minute to work out where you were in the lessons. Well done if you've mastered the first part (fun, ain't it?).
Taxiing with a force-feedback stick, it's important to use twist (rudder) ONLY to turn. Any sideways movement works the ailerons and produces a bank, which you DON'T want on the ground.
About power, there's a bit of a trick. You open the throttle a touch, and nothing happens - so you add MORE throttle, and suddenly the aeroplane moves, and starts accelerating....
The trick is to give it a burst of throttle to get it moving, then throttle right back. At first, the odds are that it will then stop again - so get it moving once more, and then throttle back till the throttle is ALMOST closed, and she should start rolling at a controllable speed. Just a matter of practice, and gaining experience with the throttle.
You can also use the trigger on the joystick to apply a touch of brake, if things look like getting out of control.
