Favorite Free Plane

Whats your favorite freeware plane?  It could also be one that you fly the most.

For me, it changes.  Right now my favorite is Tim Conrads beautiful N-9MB Flying Wing.

My latest heartthrob is the Maule package from M. Maliniemi (and others). Floats, tundra tires, strut gear, spring gear, trike. Beautiful model(s) of a really fun airplane!!

Right now, its a tie between the beechcraft twin bonanza (the one I used in the contest) and the Rockwell Comander 500 with the dirty textures, and my engine modification. I copied the engine information from the .cfg of the comander 680, and the entire .air file from that A/C as well. Gives it better performance all around, and a much higher cieling.

My favorite has got to be the 757 I just started flying...oh wait we're talking about the simulator...my bad ;) anyways my favorite has got to be an Aardvark AI 757 model from I dug up and updated the performance to be as perfect as I could make it and then gave it a full panel with all the views. I like it since it's FD is perfect and I don't fly from outside it so not like the exterior matters. When flying airline flights I stay inside the cockpit as much as possible, then take out the Cub for a little outback fun. ;)

My favorite is the Howard 500.  I think it is a beautifully modeled plane and it flies like a dream.  No hanger is complete without it.

I like the MD-81/82 by Mitsushi Yutaka, Warren C. Daniel, and Peefunk. It has a nice VC and pretty darn realistic FDs!
