I like how you can fly into the spire at SYKM and be thrown out at about 30000ft higher in 2 seconds... Quick slew mode...

LMAO.

I tried that. Crashed and burned. ;D

How about that? pretty large section of land with a sudden indentation....I'd say about 2,000 ft...

with spires of some sort that contain working airports on them! There are at least 6 that I counted on my way by in the f-14! :-)

airports include a few of the following:
26V
TV6
CD05

P.S. look for more photos in freeware screenies within the next day or so... ;-)

Jared,

If you've added add-on terrain mesh... that can cause such phenomona.  The default airports are set at a specific altitude.  The flattens and surfaces are "set".  It is set for the default terrain mesh altitude.  If a more accurate mesh raises or lowers the surrouinding terrain... the airport can end up on a tower or in a hole.   ;).

best,

that is awsome. I have one, go to palmer alaska, any of the airports there. theres like 100 of them in this one little area, but no AI traffic. I dont know if its a glitch, or if this is a town where everyone has an airplane instead of a car.

BTW:Jared, thats an F-14 in the picture...

I had that happen after I downloaded the FSGenesis freeware mesh.  Kind of funky, but it's great to practice short field landings with!  :)

It isn't an add-on..........if on the wright bros flight you taxi the airstip about half way you will find the black cab on the right handside outside the building (maybe it why it's known as taxi-ing!)

I fould another one. if you fly out of PAVC and go east along the coast, you will see rivers that go up onto hills. also places wher the river have a platue type formation under it that follows it... if that makes sense. Ill post pics when I get home. (Im at work)

well, here they are. I didnt have ClipGrabSave when I took them, but that is what I used to resize them, that is why you see the image preview thing. any future screenshots I post will look a little better.

PACV, sorry for the confusion. Im half dislexic, I spell half of some things backwards... Also, I found that if you land a sea plane at the top of one of those hills, you can sorta sled down it, its fun. Screw water skiing, Im going water sledding!   ;D
