Courcheval is certainly tricky to take off from..but the views in the sorrounding area sure are pretty....here's LFLJ from the Cessna (Rothlisberger Terrain Mesh)........I won't say if I actually took off from there.

By "a mistake" I meant the runway length, not the inclusion of it in the game  :P but now that I look at it I guess it's possible that IS the real runway length, maybe.

Thats funny. Last time I saw Corcheval it was in the middle of a ski resort. :P Not to mention with a runway that ment you took off down hill and landed up hill. There's one at Meribel too. And i'm sure there are many others scattered around the alps.

Here are a couple pics of the Arkansas glitch.  Wasn't sure I'd clear the rim coming out.   ;D

This is my first post here in the FS2004 forum... I'll make it a good one.

There's a nice 10,000 ft. long snow runway in Antarctica.  Try this for fun.  Don't start from runway 7/25... just try to make a landing there.  There's several other runways for ya to take off.  But make your landing at 7 or 25.  Also, notice on the map it shows 24 then 25 written on top.

Take-off from KPUB and fly direct gps to KALS...preferably in an F-16 or eqivalent aircraft... :-)

not far from KALS you will have passed over I belive two moutain ridges and be within 30-50 (don't remember) miles of KALS...

if you are running the same terrain you should see something similar to this...
Image

Actual elevatoin outside of the hole is around 8100' to 8200' feet...

Elevation inside the whole was 6.5' where I checked it... :-)

And while there is no airport down there, the f-16 can safely clear the edge.. :-)

I wonder how these glitches happened in the first place.
