shift 3, 4, etc

hi all, can anyone help? when fs9 says to press shift 3 etc what do i press? ive tried pressing shift + 3, shift +f3, but i have no idea!  ???

its for the realair spit, it says to press shift 4 to open the compass, shift 2 to open gps, etc etc. cheers  :)

The FS9 default keyboard keys are online HERE.

the + sign means 'and' or 'then or 'after'
either way it's holding-down SHIFT -- then the number

Thus, pushback is:
Pushback Start/Stop
SHIFT+P

Another thing you might check is if the number you are to press is found on the top of the keyboard or on the number pad.  Most shift+numpad combinations are for views, but I suppose an add-on developer could assign them differently.

In this case it's the numbers on the keyboard, not the Num Pad keys. The Shift + 2, 3, 4 etc. key commands open the pop-up windows on the panel. These do the same as the clickable buttons on the default panels. Just the same in all versions of FS.

cheers guys, its actually working now...think my keyboard must be on the way out or something..
