Engine problems...

Postby chuboy » Sat Jan 29, 2005 6:08 am

Problems with jet engines - If I turn them off - they don't start. They turn and whine and N2 changes a little, but I can't get hem ready for taxi!  :(

I think that if you keep pressing Ctrl + E, without stopping and until the engines are fully started. Always works for me.

Like Nexus said. If you shut them down by moving the condition levers to the cut off position you will need to move them back up to flight idle during spool up. Or you can move the condition levers to flight idle and then press Ctrl + E.

To simplify

Spin it, (starter)

and POOF! it (Vroom vroom... or eeeehhhhh, it works!  Have fun)
Cheers,
