i had the little button in my plane, i pressed it and nothing happened.

Hi kk1,

I have downloaded exactly the same file & had exactly the same problem - had the button but nothing happened.

I am also a noob as far installing & changing files is concerned, but I think the problem was that I hadn't installed the sound file in the correct place. (at least thats my guess - could be wrong & probably is).

Quite frankly, i'm just tagging along for the ride here & hoping that somebody else knows the answer  ::).

(Commoner?? Hagar?? you guys are good with files, any ideas please??).

In the meantime if i manage to figure it out i'll let you know.

...well..guys....Maybe if you said a bit more about what you did and exactly which plane you want to use this "thing" in somebody might be able to help...vague statements like "the button" don't help much. I downloaded the file and if you are unfamiliar with files and folders and installing stuff then you could be in for a bunch of trouble as it looks like a rather messy sort of install to me....Try the step by step 737-400 install included and try to make sure you follow the readme word for word...I'll give it a go later and let you know what happens....commoner ;)

.....Hi again. I installed the panel in the default 737-400 and it works just fine....that would indicate that you have put some of the files in the wrong places or not edited the panel.fsg file correctly....or even tried to put it in the wrong aircraft....As I said try it in the 737-400 and say how you got on....it must work if you follow the readme correctly..if you want help with another aircraft then say which.....commoner.. ;)

Hi Commoner,

Sorry I was a bit vague on what I had tried to install.

The plane i tried to use was the 737-400, following the steps in the read-me file, but I must've gone astray somewhere. It was a few day's ago & I can't remember exactly what I tried now, but I will have another go at it later (from scratch) & see how I get on this time.

Thankyou for taking the time to download the file & have a look at it for us though.

catch ya later..................

Oh yes, commoner you have done it, i just got the button, pressed it and the panel didn't come up.
737-400 is where i was putting it as the file said, i don't want complex as i'm naff with files. i'm going to try again on my own and see what i can mess up.
