Postby gavinprice02 » Mon Jan 24, 2005 11:48 am

I have quite a bit of text that I want to paste into the Kneeboard(Checklist or anyother part) it's bout 100 pages worth.  I can't keep exiting FS to check ADOBE Acrobat reader to read the Manual coz it would take me about a year to fly. is there anyway I can get this info onto my kneeboard. Maybe making it HTML?? I dont know!!

Build your website which includes all the pages this can me online at your ISP or offline on your harddrive.

Simply include the link to its mainpage in one of your kneeboard files .

i recommend using kneeboard_keys.htm as it's accessible from any plane.

..It is a PDF file I guess eh?.....open the PDF file and then file/save as.....text .to your desktop. Then right click the text file and open with IE. and then file/save as HTML again to the desktop and change it's name to kneeboard_keys

The FS9 kneeboard is just a browser it's no different from the browser you are reading this message in except it's smaller and does not permit pop-ups.

If the URL is on one's harddrive:

. . . as shown here or online on the internet, it will still be viewable in the kneeboard.

I use online and offline resources while flying FS9 but avoid opening (as much as possible) *.PDF files as they gobble up too much of my computer resources.
