adding A1 static aircraft

Hi,

Iam trying to add static aircraft to kinloss AB using the afcad221 program, please can you help? i've added a parking slot but i can't seam to get an aircraft assigned to the parking slot i made. i don't want flying A1 yet !! just static. Am i using the right program?

Hi Ian. I'm completely out of touch with all this now. I don't think it's possible to have an AI aircraft permanently static. You would have to create a flight plan of some sort for it. The flight could take place in the middle of the night or any other time when you're not likely to see it move.

Hi Ian, Doug's quite right. The other thing you do is use the parking codes function so your aircraft is always in the same spot whenever you see it otherwise you might have a problem with other AI nicking the space when you start to add more traffic.

May I suggest using the WEEK algorithm in the flightplan; this will keep the aircraft parked most of the time.
