instrument panel

just bought a new machine loaded up flight sim 2004 which i had no trouble with before i get all the scenery building etc and the ovehead instrument panel but the main panel is just black - help

is your graphics card capable of playing fs9?

i would hope so this machine just cost me a foutune - it displays everything else scenery runway the upper instrement panel etc - in fact if you put your mouse in ther area of where the main instrement panel should be you get the little promt telling you what you have come across :ie throttle etc  only you cant see it

mmmh thats strange, have you tried re-installing fs9?, and do you have the latest graphics drivers

Does this occur with the other aircraft in your hangar, or just this particular model...?

thanks for all the promt replys i have re-installed it twice and it happens with every aircraft  if anyone can suggest downloading any specific drivers i may not have and need fire away

well i only a new member so i dont have quite enough experience, but do you have any anti-virus or spyware installed? list all the ones u got.

i have diretx 9 and i cant understand why i get everything else displayed (really well) all except the main panel ?? i have anti virus switched off

i dont understand at all either.....i would switch anti-virus back if wah u, well if ya usin t'internet. eerrm, who is the pc made by, it could be a hitch, im not sure, im studying ict at skool, an usually the main culprits are anti-virus and old drivers. have you done an virus scan? and have you got all windows update, updated to the fullest

pc is a fujitsu it has all the latest specs penteuim 4 60gb hard drive 256ram etc etc

dont ask me how but ive got it i apparently disabled 3d acceleration and it worked ???
