Problem with Project Fokker...

Postby chuboy » Mon Jan 17, 2005 3:36 am

I've been using Project Fokker for about 4 weeks, and recently, I've been having a problem whereby the panel is delayed - that is, if press to set the altimeter, no panel reaction until you open a separate window, say the Overhead Panel. This has never happened before. Any suggestions?

Are you sure you haven't accidentally clicked the STND button, which sticks the ALT at 29.92. Happend to me.

That was just an example. If you pressed to turn the autopilot on, it wouldn't change any gauges until you refreshed the panel. This is very disappointing becuase now I have to enter ALT holds one 100 at a time!  :(

Well I have one thing to say about the FOKKer, it is a rea FOKKer at times.

You have a lot less problems than I DID !!!! I say did because out of the blue FS 9 would just turn off. Man what  a drag, so I took the plane out of my inventory. That solved all of the problems with things not working correctly.

Good luck,

I will agree with the last comment. I even had problems during the installation. A run-time error of the installer prevented the installation in two different PCs. For some mysterious reason the installation succeded in a third PC and then I copied the files to the first one. About half times I attempted to load an aircraft of the group and start a flight my system halted. I removed everything and I have no more problems. It's sad because they seem to have spent hours even for the repainting alone.
