help needed! BADDATA

Postby sinzov » Mon Jan 17, 2005 6:24 am

Hi,
since a couple of days i experience a strange visual effect around some airports and river valleys: red colour instead of the natural green, brown etc.. the responsible texture-file is called "baddata" and situated in the main texture folder of fs9. obviously it indicates a problem - a missing file or whatever.
does anyone know what to do ?

thx

I would try to sift through the disks and find where the texture folders are kept, then replace the messed up one with the good one from your disk.

Another common thing to screw up textures is video drivers.  Make sure you have updated to the latest one for your card.

I wonder if FS2k4 is compatable with OpenGL?  If so, you could try running it in that mode, maybe your card would have better results.
