When FS9 was announced (with screenies and features etc) it came kinda like a surprise to the FS community. I expect the same thing with FS10. It will be released, but lips will be sealed until just a few months until the release date.

The sooner they announce it, the sooner people will stop with the unrealistic, what they want topics. Then the "well microsoft dont care about the users" topics can start ::)

:o Oi........! Give us a chance Dan. I'm still struggling to run FS9 any sense on my poor old system. :-[

Funny thing about FS. It takes the 3rd party developers something like 2 years to fix all the bugs & get things sorted out. Everyone updates their computers or gets new ones to run it on - then what happens? They release a new version so the whole cycle starts all over again. ::)

I have no wish to start a discussion on what people want to see in FS10 - if it's on the cards which is by no means certain. Personally, apart from improved graphics & things like that, I can't see that they can go much further with the current program. :-/

PS. I reckon Dan's showing off cos he just got a brand-spankin' new rocket-powered rig. :P ;)

I could live for a new FS in 2006. But then I want a major revolution of the FS world...

Doug is half right there. Ive still got 2k2, and if 2k6 is coming out at the end of the year then ill just save my money and skip FS2004. Simple... Thats all!! Lol.... So what do we want in FS12?  :o

Glad you are enjoying your computer Dan! ;)
Personally I won't be buying FS10 until the price drops to a decent figure. FS9 was roughly
Windows 7 Pro 64bit
Intel Core 2 Duo E2180 2GHz
GA-P35-DS3L Intel P35
Kingston HyperX 4GB (2x2) DDR2 6400C4 800Mhz
GeForce 8800 GT 512MB
2 x 22" monitors
200GB Sata
Be Quiet! Straight Power 650W

It would be real interesting to have a look at the stock Microsoft owns in the hardware manufacturers companies.  ;D

The day after FS10 comes out, the next two threads will read "Does anyone know when FS11 is coming out?" and "I heard they're not continuing it."

::)
Great edit, Bob.

Google it.
