loading crash?

Recently I've developed a problem in FS9, I can launch game and do anything in initial menu screens but when I click to start flight, it

My doctor always says"If it hurts when you go like that don't go like that." this tells me there's something causing your FS9 to crash on open (or lockup) and your assignment -- should you choose to accept it -- is to find out which addon is causing the problem. It may be a bit of a stretch but it may be the last addon installed before experiencing the lock-ups.

The problem may be as simple as a corrupted fs9.cfg file which if deleted, FS9 will create a shiny new one for you. It takes a few minutes to reset everything and off you go flying (unless of course the original problem rewrites the same errors to fs9.cfg file)

Put another way, if things don't change they will remain the same.

Yep it could be almost anything you have added on since the problem started occuring, I know it sometimes does the same thing to me when I add a new plane, and I can usually trace it back to a faulty or corrupt gauge........
