Very Slow reaction to controls

 I am running fs9 and using the keyboard for controls.  Problem is the planes react very slow to the input.  I have a half meg of ram and running Windows XP.

Anybody know what would cause this or how to correct it?

Try going into the Settings and adjusting the Sensitivities  ;D

Tried that, it didn't work.
