Hi guys, just wondering if there was a proceedure in place for emergancy landings with regard to calling ATC, in FS9.

Also, does anyone know of a Westland Lynx for FS9?

Cheers

There is no procedure for declaring an emergency in FS9.

Would love that in fs10
Now if something goes without saying, then why do people say it??

I find if you have A emergency during  your flight plan, is to use your gps and file for the nearest airport to land and ATC  direct you there.

Yeah you just have to pretend there is an emergency, and tune in the nearest airport to land..... :o

Me personally I dont see why declaring an emergency has to be a HAVE TO HAVE thing in a sim....but that is just my opinion

Thanks for the Alphasim comments, have now downloaded the lynx.

Regarding the emergancy, i just thought that some one may have created something to do this. It seems a shame really, as its always a big part of Falcon 4, or at least it is when i'm flying. Probably as im rubbish and always get some kind of projectile hitting the aircraft. lol
