Hazy Horizons

Postby commoner » Fri Dec 10, 2004 2:00 pm

Hi all Radeon users....It struck me as rather odd that the horizon, especially over water looked too straight and artificial with no haze between sea and sky.......tried all the settings and still nothing. Today I found a fix for this and it appears that Ati Radeon cards don't set up the FS9

What I do is set my visibility a tad down. that sets haze at the horizon if there is none.

I think I may have the same problem, although I do not have an ATI Radeon. I have a ProSavage S3 DDR card.

I haven't been able to see ground haze ever since I irst set up FS9 more than four months ago.

Wouldn't know about the Prosavage card but you could check if the entry for that card on the display.cfg is the same on his pc as on yours....if not BACK UP yours first then change the entry..otherwise dunno ..commoner  ;)
