Left hand or Right hand?

For what it's worth I'm right handed but I always use the joystick with my left hand.

I suspect, though, that if I found myself at 30,000 feet in the left seat of an Airbus, using the joystick with my left hand would probably be the least of my worries.

It would be no different for flight instructors in a Cessna 152.  The student sits on the left, yoke in left hand, throttle in right.  The instructor would have to fly yoke in right hand throttle in left, but when they learned to fly it was throttle right, yoke left.  It is just a matter of practice, the aircraft still flies the same.

Learn to use both, then you can't be caught out when use lose your hand mid flight...

And if you ever want to fly a Spitfire you'll need to be able to as well....

Good thing for me I have been using simulators and flying games my whole life so both hands is not a prob.....
