Joe_d has it right....once you've set up and STARTED Irfanview then start FS and press the hot keys whenever you like...just a little "DOING" noise lets you know that the screen grab has gone into the folder of your choice....sweet and simple... ;D

David, you should be able to get screenshots just by pressing PrintScreen - then pause the game, minimise the screen, and call up 'Paint' from the 'Accessories' menu.

Dont mean to be a party pooper, but how can using 'fraps' or whatever differ from using microsoft paint!? in fs, press pritscreen, open paint and press paste. Save as a jpeg... simple, return to your flight. A truely awsome screenhot should be worth pausing the game for! If its not worth pausing the game, is it really worth a screenshot? I have got some amazing screenshots using this method. Drop me a line at johnbentley1986@hotmail.com and ill send you a zip file with my best! Please feel free to send me screenshots too!!!

Using FSScreen, Irfanview, or any of the others saves it for you without having to minimize FS9...you can snap away and  keep flying! ;)

Once you use one of these, you'll wonder why you ever did it the other way!

Agree, MattNW, you need fsscreen or similar if you want to take a series, or in situations where you can't afford to pause the game.  If you want to do live shots of landings or takeoffs, for example, as opposed to 'cheating' by taking shots on Replay!  :)

jb2_86_uk, if you look in the 'Graphic Gallery' section you will find that there are several very active forums devoted to screenshots.  Look forward to seeing some of yours on there.  Be careful about size, though, it's easy to overload it.

Particularly if you have scenery in it (the ground blows up a file size like you wouldn't believe!)
