mog= TROLL ......... and we all know what that means!!!!

For goodness sake all you people who are trying to treat this person in a decent way.

Haven't you got the message yet about people who abuse other long standing members shortly after they 'join' the forum?

Eno is quite right. This joker is a TROLL and needs to be ignored.

mog, in that case this forum doesn't have time for people like you.

We always go out of our way to welcome newcomers here and Craig is always one of the first.

Why don't you just sod off and take your attitude with you as you are not welcome by me and I suspect many others.

Rollerball..I DO take your point that this guy was way out of order in his attitude and really deserves no better than to be "out on his ear".....BUT telling people to "SOD OFF" etc is just not the way I was brought up (turn the other cheek and all that eh?)...maybe some encouragement to temper his words would have been a better approach.........and I do take exception to being told what to put in my posts.......apart from by ADMIN that is! It makes me so sad that great forums such as this can degenerate so quickly. :( :( :(...commoner.

Commoner, I'm not gonna get into a slanging match with you about language , the forums degenerating or anything else.

But I've been around here a bit longer than you, I've seen the forums and its members being abused by people bent solely on mischief and I've seen people come and go as a result.

There is no one around here who has the wellbeing of these forums closer to their hearts than me as any long standing member will tell you.

But there comes a time when the direct approach with direct language is necessary and that's what this TROLL got and deserved.

I'm sorry if this has upset your sensibilities but so be it. What people like this want is to cause trouble and then sit back and see what happens. Already he has got what he wants with these postings and if I were a Mod, I would have taken it down as soon as I saw the TROLL'S response to Craig's initial replies.

Please do not indulge him even further by making any further public response to this. If you want to make your views known to me, use IM as Craig did. Thanks for your message Craig. It was nothing mate.

I'm sorry that you can't spot a TROLL from 50 paces. It comes with experience

"Sincere but controversial or naive posters are often mislabeled as trolls" - quote from wikipedia.

indeed with only 13 posts my comments were naive and i apologize for that, i have asked other questions and by and large received a suitable reply.

however, as is the case in open forums those who are naive and new are soon shot down for being naive.

however, there are plenty other forums with which i can goto to obtain help and advise,  having learnt my lesson in this one.

apologies and good luck

Mog you asked how to refuel. you didnt specify any further details like you wanted a quick key press. I gave you the answer to your question with a solution i am fammiliar with. If thats not what you wanted then you say so in a polite way instead of a cocky reply, then specify what it is you want.

Speaking as a mod of a different forum here on SimV........

Anyone reading this thread who doubts that this new person here on SimV ...... "mog"..... came into this particular conversation in a very rude and abrasive way needs to review both the content and the timing of the first 10 posts in this thread.

"mog's" comments kinda' are like someone getting invited into your house for dinner and then saying, "Hey the food you make sucks, and your taste in home furnishings is awful.

Mog please learn to be civil, it helps a lot in the long run, and there are a lot of people who will be happy to help you if you aren't rude ;)
And NOBODY is to start screaming troll! We mods have experience of this matter, and mog has done nothing trollish!
