It's a modern air combat simulator, which focuses on hi-tech aircrafts, unlike CFS (combat flight simulator) where you mostly have aircrafts from the 2nd World war.

Its full name is Lock On:Modern Air Combat (hence giving it the catchy acronym LOMAC) and it is developed by UBISOFT I believe.

Don't waste your money.  I have yet to find someone who truly admits to liking that sim.  I bought and had it on my system for only a day or so then chucked it...   ::)

Same here DPR. WAY too complicated in my opinion, but some like that sort of thing. I had it on my machine for 4 days I think, and still couldn't get the hang of all the combinations of key commands for the acfts, weapons systems etc.

To each his own though.

lomac is a true great sim...in some aspects better than fs9...in some aspects...:) but the truth is that is is just to bloody dificult to remember all the key combinations and all the computer programs of all the planes...that's the main dificulty....it loses people because it is just to damn real!!! :P
