Graphics Driver Problem

Postby Latigo » Sun Nov 07, 2004 3:56 pm

Guys, I recently upgraded my DirectX and NVidia Drivers.
Now it seems most of my cockpit 2D views are low resolution and very wide. Not even half of the display fits on the screen. This includes default and add-on aircraft. Card is a MX440.

Anyone seen this?

To be honest that card is quite old now and probably will gain nothing from the latest drivers!  bit late now though.

One thing though did you totally uninstall the old drivers?  you need to use a program called Driver Cleaner3 to do this.  If not get this and try it.

Or

Get a program called Driver Cleaner3.  Use this totally get rid of the driver you just installed and the re-install your older driver that worked.

I had exactly the same problem with those drivers for my Gforce 4 card and I did use a driver cleaner. Only fix I found was to step back. Luckily I set a restore point before installing the new drivers. Some kind of serious problems with the new Nvidia drivers.
