Unzip the file to a temporary folder. You'll see 2 files, one of them is 'FS9.exe'
Copy this file in your main Flight Simulator 2004 folder. It should be at 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 2004', unless you picked a different name/location when installing. When asked to 'Overwrite?', say yes. This will overwrite the original file.
You may want to first make a back up copy of the original 'FS9.exe" file although the original is always available from the CD's.
If you have, or are planning to install the MS FS9.1 upgrade you may want to hold off on the NoCD patch.
Although some have said the NoCD patch works with the update, MS says you will not get all the benifits of the update if you alter/replace the new FS9.exe file. (Whatever that means :) )
Cheers,
Dave
At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.
