Has anybody tried Flight Deck III?

Postby RMS » Tue Oct 19, 2004 8:38 pm

I'm new to this forum so not sure if this is the right place to ask this. Anyway, I'm interested in Naval ops and noticed an Abacus product called Flight Deck III that's an add on for FS '04 and wonder if it is worthwhile. I have enjoyed flying Jane's FA18 especially for the carrier ops aspect. If this Flight Deck III is of a high fidelity then it looks like it would be a lot of fun.
Thanks - RMS

HI RMS... and welcome to SimV.

You might want to look down in the Payware section........ FDIII and Abacus have been discussed there.  In fact I'd SUGGEST that you check there before buying it.   ;)

best,

Thanks for the welcome John. This looks like a great website, and forum - I haven't put in a whole lot of time with FS9 yet but that is about to change. I just finished a system integration with FS-GS services and Michael really kicked my system into high gear so IL2, Lockon, and FA18 are going to be sitting while I get into FS9.
And thanks for the heads up - its hard to know what after market products will fit in with what I want to do with the sim, there are so many.
