Guy in my cockpit

Postby Ijineda » Mon Oct 04, 2004 8:25 am

This is seriously annoying! nearly every time I want to takeoff, an invisible guy in the cockpit decreases the throttle and hits the brakes to make it impossible for me to reach more than 30knots...how the hell can I turn this XXXXXX off? thanx!

Are you sure you've turned off the parking brakes? Press . to make sure.

Maybe you inadvertantly have the auto-throttle armed and set at a low speed?

best,

I've seen that this game has more "hiccups" than any other FS program. A good friend of mine had to reload his game three times before it would work correctly.

I'm going to have to reload because the multi-player function refuses to work. The game locks up on me when I try to fly on-line.

You may want to just try that, even if you loaded the game a long time ago. Be sure to copy your saved flights folder in My Documents to another folder in case it overwrites it. Then you can just copy everything back in and you'll have all your flights.

well its neither the autothrottle nor the parking brakes...it seems that the plane is configured for taxi only, therefore the 30kn-limit. and : it only happens during night-flights.veeeeeery strange, dont u think? ???

I've never had this problem before (or any others)....so that rules out a buggy game.  Well, for the most part.  lol
Great edit, Bob.

Did you look under your seat. Some of the FS9 versions were shipped with "Virtual Stowaways"! If you can catch him, Just put him in a folder and delete it. This should solve your problem!  ;D   ;D   ;D
