Showing Callsign and Flight#

Postby Skittles » Thu Sep 30, 2004 10:36 pm

Hi All,

I'd never seen this come up before, just found out about it and thought I would share.

I've always used the AI Aircraft Labels so I could actually find the traffic, but was discouraged when I had three aircraft at my Two o'clock Five miles and didn't know which one ATC was refering to.

I found out I could have the label show the aircraft Callsign AND Flight#.

Using the following FS9.CFG lines, your aircraft labels will display the aircraft Callsign and Flight number, Heading, Speed, Distance & Altitude.

[AContain]
ShowLabels=1
ShowUserLabel=0
ShowLabelManufacturer=0
ShowLabelModel=0
ShowLabelTailNumber=0
ShowLabelDistance=1
ShowLabelAltitude=1
ShowLabelAirline=0
ShowLabelAirlineAndFlightNumber=1
ShowLabelFlightPlan=0
ShowLabelContainerId=0
ShowLabelAirspeed=1
ShowLabelHeading=1
LabelDelay=1000
LabelColor=FFFF0000

Happy Simming,

Joe

A much more easier way to do it is while flying to go into the menu > Options > Settings > Traffic, and select the options you want to show.

Simple Innit? ;D

I doubt it, I had ACOF delivered to my door the day it came out via the internet ad I too have the option...

Alt, O, E, T should get you there...:-)

I have usually flown without them, but just recently turned them back on to keep on eye on my new AI traffic that I added at Kent State (Yes school airplanes at the school airport!) as well as some additional PAI files that I downloaded recently..:-)
