Wired Contrails.... need help

hey all.....

i added some planes at one time and added some .FX files..... then i flew a plane and the contrails of the engines were very strange.... the i wet to the effects folder and found nothing that indicated this change. mabe one plane that i downloaded had a crappy effect that screwed ALL my other planes up...
i could really use some help please....

Hi there

You need to read the tute about uploading pics to the SimV server. You can't keep pics in your 'My Documents' (Mis Documentos) folder because only you can see what is on your PC

With out a description, or pic, just taking a shot here:

If you have ended up with contrails that trail down to the ground its is probably because one of the a/c installs replaced the default FS9 contrails with FS2002 contrails.

Check your effects folder for fx_contrail_l.fx and fx_contrail_s.fx. The FS9 file date should be 5/14/03.
You can recover the default from CD#1, msgame1.cab.

Either that or they appear hard and shake around alot instead of flowing like soft whisps
