Postby fretwizard » Sat Sep 25, 2004 4:46 pm

Hi there I'm sorta new to this Flight Sim Scene and this is probably a stupid question but can anyone tell me if the Vulcan has firespitting  afterburners. I've figured out how to add effects to aircraft and was wondering wether to add flames to the back of the aircraft I have just Downloaded..

many thanx in advance

The Vulcan was not equipped with afterburners for its Olympus engines. Mind you with all that thrust it didn't need it ;D

The Vulcan didn't have re-heat capability, even so it handled more like a fighter than a bomber. Should have been there when 4 QRA aircraft took off - the last one was screaming down the runway with the first one just starting its climbing turn. Got pictures of 27 sqdn at Scampton.  ;D O, BTW they didn't have flaps either, so if you downloaded one better make sure you can use aerodynamic braking.
