Okay, I have tried following all the suggestions I could find about adding and removing files.

A couple of suggestions.
1) If you are using windows xp me or 2000 than use system restore to go back before you added the scenery. But beware If you have added any other files or software those could be lost as well.
2) Not knowing what you have done before now forgive me if i am repeating something you have allready tried.
In order to remove scenery start FS and go to the settings menu then go to add remove scenery menu the last scenery you added will be the first on the list unless you moved it down a level. Once you find your scenry just click on it then click delete or remove. than restart FS.
3) You can also remove the folder where you put the scenery at. It is a good idea to make a seperate folder in the addon scenery folder for each scenery you add using the name of the scenery for the folder name. It makes things a lot easier to find.
If all else fails the only option left is to uninstall and reinstall FS. 8)

It's not a matter of all the scenery be ruined, it's just that it doesn't look like what they show on their site for a screenshot!

Again, this is with the 70M mesh available here on SimV!

I'm going to try re-downloading it from AVsim...

Okay, here are some screenshots (problem persisted even after I re-downloaded and installed the scenery)

In the shot below, there is something from the runway in the water (you can't see it in this shot)...

If anyone has a suggestion for a mesh I can install, or what to do, please let me know...this scenery is really nice and I'd really like to get it working properly.

Looks like you didn't install it properly. The photoreal terrain isn't there. There are two files to download with that package. As for a mesh, I used the old North America mesh that used to be around here somewhere. I think its been integrated into that big world wide mesh. Try here. http://www.simviation.com/fsdterrainsrtm.htm

You need to follow the instructions carefully. Here's the creator's site.

Okay, finally figured it out...

All I had to do was put the folders in the following priority order...using the buttons on the right...Top=Move up, second one from top=Move Down.

Many thanks for all your responses! :)
