Same old problem

I still have problems with my ATC-sound, but i think i found something (I can understand if some of you slowly feel bored of this old discussion, but it just sucks without ATC- voices!!!), so if anyone can answer this question it

If it plays WAVs but not MP3s, or something to that affect, then yes, most likely it is audio codec problems. I assume you tried uninstalling/reinstalling your sound card drivers. How about DirectX. Media player 9 provides lots of codecs too.

mmh, I already updated the Media Player Codecs via Microsoft.com, but i didn

Im not sure i thing its really *.mp3 named at the end as *:wav see *.WAV is too big i assume as i saw in other prgm as counter strike or quake their named as *.wav but realy its an *mp3 .....I think  ::)

yeah, but even if it is an .mp3 winamp would play it, or not? I mean i still can listen to my music and stuff, but certain .wav files are not played by winamp in my case...

oh...oh.....i just updated my sounddrivers and the codecs, but nothin changed....still no ATC-sound....that will bring me bad dreams now, actually i wanted to try to sleep now.... :(

Hm, Let me experiment a while and see if I can shut mine off from outside the flight sim.

...just found out that the "flighttraining" (with awsome Rod machado ;D) sounds are diabled too...so, EVERYTHING in the flights that have to do with voices isn

be careful Skittles you should first make an point in case you have to restore "if you have that option" ;)

No sweat, I have my "backingup routine" down to a science. And I have a lot of "lost data" to prove it! ;D

But Mr. Ray Ban,  I can't seem to get the affect you are talking about without my opersys telling me what's missing. Sorry.
