Annoying problem

Postby chomp_rock » Fri Aug 27, 2004 8:23 pm

This is a really annoying problem. Sometimes and I repeat SOMETIMES when I am rolling to taxi, land, take off etc. my framerate drops to 0fps. This problem occurs no matter what view i'm using and no matter what aircraft I'm using. Once I'm airborn the framerates go to their usual 25fps. Also it DOES NOT matter what my graphics and sound settings are, whether they be the lowest quality available or the highest the problem still occurs, sometimes.

P.S. it even occurs if the sound is turned off.

chomp this happens to me a lot, for example if i am any where in the US or high detail scenery area while on the ground taxing or approching or even park at the gate myframe rate drops to 0 but once i take off and airborne it goes up. thats the reason why i only fly in the carribean i all ways get good frame rate. but i guess if you have a good machine it does'nt matter where you are you will get good frame rate.

100% AI (Project AI A/C) w/GA traffic. I should mention that it does not matter what airport I am at and even If I turn the traffic off it still happens.
