Landing lights

Postby chomp_rock » Tue Aug 24, 2004 10:16 pm

When I turn my landing or taxi lights on I get a big white or brown box on the ground that obscures my vision of the runway or taxiway.

Have you always had this problem, or did it start near a time of a new a/c download?

Is it only one a/c or all?
What do computers and air conditioners have in common?Image
They both will work perfectly, until you open windows.

It happens with all aircraft, I don't have any addons installed in FS9 yet either.

This happened to me the other day.  I replaced it with an addon from avsim that had to do with the landing lights.  It worked like a charm.  Besides this addon lighting looks better and not so intense.

Give that a try.

It worked! Thank you for pointing me to that download, I can now land, take off and taxi at night.
