tri linear bi linear antialiasing

Can somebody explain what that is ?

Not totally sure what the filtering does but I think Tri-linear should give a better image.  

Anti-Alias gets rid of the Jaggie edges.  Take a look in the screeny section, notice most of the pics dont have jagged edges, this is due to the use of Anti-Alias.

One bit of advice, DO NOT tick the Anti-Alias box on the Hardware tab in the FS2004 display settings.  If you wish to use Anti-Alias turn it on using your graphics cards settings, i.e. control panel / display..... Then access your cards settings from there.

bi and tri linear filtering interpolates between pixcels giving a higher apparent resolution then is actually present.  If you turn this on and off the image will appear to get smoother but more blurry with higher levels of filtering.  They way it works is simple.  If there's a black and a white pixcel next to eachother the filter just slaps a gray pixcel in between them.
