MATS-CONNIE

Postby gizmoe53 » Sun Aug 22, 2004 11:12 pm

Regarding Kalyan Mukherjee's repaint of Mike Stone's Super Connie, after T/O and initial climb out, the ailerons and elevators start twitching up and down uncontollably. I have an MS FF2 joystick and have to unplug the electric line in order to retain control of the aircraft. In the extrernal view they appear to be waving at you-really fast!!!  LOL  Any ideas on how to fix this or has anyone else experianced the same problem?

Depending on what you have installed, adding re-paints can be a hit/miss affair...  I had a problem with the Lancair Legacy bouncing up and down like a hydraulic car after trying to add a re-paint....

To clarify a little bit, the aircraft was a complete download, not one where I downloaded and installed the repaint.

Hi I have a "connie" for 2k2 it does the same! elevators on steriods!!!! I found that it is very trim sensitive and very very speed sensitive on the climb out (this is when it happens the most) keep the speed down to 200kts. Before take off make sure the elevator trim is at 0. hope this helps. Regards Chris

If your not part of the answer    your part of the problem!

Chris, thanx for the help. It partially solved the problem, however I still must keep speed below 160 kts even after cruise altitude is reached or  the elevators get to flipping out. However I have to get above 200 before the ailerons do, though. Don't know if its steroids or they are just having a seizure!!  LOL  Thanx again, Tom
