Hi i seem to have a problem with viewing right or left wing nacelles. I am viewing impeller box movement cut -away look into engine. Don't understand why when viewing from the 747 cockpit. I have recently upgraded
new drivers for my nvida geforce mx 440 agp 128m 8x card. I know i am unable to view mirror like water reflections with it. Because my card doesn't support directx9. Is it some adjustment with fs2004? I just upgraded to this product can use some help. I have a pent4 XP 512mb of ram AMD2ghz. In fs2002 std i had none of these problems. Using Meljet & Posky fs2004 jets. Thanks.

Not for sure but I had some screen distortion in ACOF myself when I tried the newest drivers for a GForce 4 card. It looked like the whole screen was stretched in the horizontal. I stepped back to the older drivers and everything cleared up.

I'm beginning to suspect a problem with the newest NVidia drivers for that card. According to NVidia I didn't install them correctly but I've installed thousands of drivers and never had this problem before.

This isn't directed at you Matt, just responding to what you said.

Video Card drivers can be tricky. Over the years I've gone through maybe 150 video card driver installs. Sometimes I have problems and most times I didn't.

The thing is to un-install the drivers before installing new ones. After un-installing, search through the registry for residual entries relating to the vidcards manufacturer/make or model.

They both will work perfectly, until you open windows.

Hi again i believe there is a mis-understanding i had this problem with the old driver as well. That's why i upgraded my video card. I was just wondering if any one else had the same problem when viewing. And found a answer with some adjustment within ms2004?
I get this with any plane installed when viewing right or left. It's like viewing a bitmap image "impeller" as a box picture turning around in the engine. Everything else runs fine. I'm stumped as to the cause of this.

Wakeymon.
