Device name is blank for my video in FS9

Postby knife-edge » Sun Aug 22, 2004 8:43 pm

I no longer get a device name for my Ti4200 card anymore it is just a blank setting there, and I am no longer to access any of the hardware accelerator settings under display settings. This means my flight simulator won't run full screen anymore. The full screen mode is greyed out, and I can't alt enter it. This seemed to have happened after installing this video capture software. I tried to uninstall the software but I still have a problem no with my flight simulator. I am really ripping mad at this video capture software, but what can you do..  It looks like my nivida drivers are still installed. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this problem?

Thanks a lot,

Jeff.

The video capture program has changed your video card settings. double check your drivers some software programs will install a different driver for your video card.
If you find your drivers haves not changed than you may have to uninstall the video capture program.
But I think that you will find that your drivers have been altered. So just reinstall them. Of course doing so may disable the video capture program.
You might want to drop a line to the maker of the video capture program to see if they can help you have both FS & there program. 8)
