Real weather in FS2004?

Just wondered if real weather works when you are flying on places like IVAO. or Vatsim? Seems to me like it doesnt, unless I am not doing something right  :o

It should. Anyway there is a real world weather utility that works with Vatsim and other similar sites. It's called FSMetar. It downloads weather information directly from Vatsim and similar sites or the US National weather service. Quite useful.
