Eveyone has touched on some really good points in the improvements dept.but the two that i like the best are being able to bring any non ATC air port alive with AI traffic useing the free AFCAD program.and the new aircraft models and workable VC no longer haveing to switch to 2d panel to get things done.and the rest is iceing on the cake.

Well I've got the game now guys. 8)

The GPS approach does seem a bit confusing, anyone know if there is a guide anywhere...or will the lessons on the actual sim help me?

Hopefully soon with RAID 0! :D

Click on the help tab in the sim there should be something in there that should help.i set on the tarmac for about 30min and seen how it opperates much diffrent than fs2002 but its the same gauge used by real world pilots.so i had a little understanding of the new GPS gauge.

It doesn't explain what all the vectors & stuff is about though. Like when you activate it loads of new waypoints come up, what are they all for?

Also do you have to control the altitude yourself with the GPS approach?

What would be a good idea is go to your local airport and buy an aromap there about $8 here in the US and it will explain all the map icons and what they mean.i am shure you can pick one up in the UK aswell if thats where your from.
