Refueling

Postby jordonj » Sun Jun 20, 2004 10:21 am

When you land, how do you refuel your plane, I mean is there a key to hit when you are near a gas station?

When you are close enough to the gas pump, the plane should refuel itself. Or you can press "Alt", then "Aircraft" on the bar on top of the screen, then "Fuel and Payload"  ;)

Yep. Whenever you pull close enough to the fuel pumps it should fill up  ;D

You should stop engine at the fuel station, and then your tank will fill up with fuel.

Way ahead of you there...I did it on my flight this morning (I think the tanks filled before I stopped the engine, but I did it anyway).

Thanks for the how to!!!

if you are in a refueling area (in fs9 at least) you will get the message 'You can refuel now by pressing cntrl+x'

i think its pretty self explanitory what you do from there... ;D

I've never seen that before... I'll have to pay more attention.

I've refueled many times in FS9 and never had to stop engines and I've never seen that message. I'll look again though. ;D

I think you have to turn the in-flight tips on to get that?  :)

For what it's worth, about here was where I was when the aircraft refueled itself:

And this was before I shut down the engine as in the image above.  I checked the fuel gages at about half-full.  The second time I checked them, they were full.

And I never hit ctrl-x.
