Boeing 7E7-800

Postby doucey592 » Thu Jun 24, 2004 1:21 pm

I just downloaded the boeing 7e7-800 and it seems like a good plane a little hard to takxi but not bad. The only problem i see is that it is a 2 enging jet with the panel and sound of a Cesna! Is ther a way that i can change it's panel and sound to that of another 2 engin jet such as a 767 or even an airbus and get the panel as well?

This is a simple fix. I have the same plane & the first thing I did was to replace the panel & sound folders.
All you have to do is to copy the panel & sound folders of the boeing 777 and paste them into the Boeing 7E7 folder and over write. 8)
This kind of problem is common with downloaded airplanes.
A designer makes a great airplane than sticks a default sound a panel file into it. Does not make much sense to me.
It like cooking a great meal only to put garbage on it afterwards. Kind of dumb if you ask me.

Yeah i hate it when you download a great jet and it sounds like a turbo prop and vice versa ( i have had it happen). Anyway thank for all your help guys i tried the panel that was designed for it but don't like it much, so i put the 777's panel in.
:) Happy flights to all

This a/c  is already aliased to the 777 panel so you guys should not have to do this .....

I built my own panel with the most likely configuration and I used the Triple 7's sounds

I downloaded the new Boeing ea-18 growler but the sounds and panel are really mucked up. Basically it just uses the panal and sound from the aircraft i was flying previously. ???

I have edited the panal and sound cfg's but it still has the same problem! Weird.
I want to be a pilot, so any tips and tricks from the real guys would be much appreciated.(i.e send me a message)
