Baron Help

Postby ross607 » Thu Jun 24, 2004 8:50 am

Hey guys... I might be missing something really obvious here but I can't seem to find an outside temperature gauge on the default Baron panel... does it exist? I'm sure the default cessna has one... I'm starting preperations for my RTW flight and I need to know this basic function so my plane doesn't fall out of the sky due to none use of the pitot & other de-icers!!!

Anybody got any ideas?

Thanks

Ross

The default Baron panel doesn't have it. You could try using FSTipsters RTW panel, its in 2k2 downloads ;)

Hi Ozzy,

Thanks - I really want to use tipsters panel but I heard its not fully functioning in FS2004... something about the GPS & TCAS not working properly in the new sim? I'm not bothered about the TCAS so much, but I need the GPS!

To fix the TCAS in Tipster's panel you will need v 3.x of FSUIPC.

Then go here http://emarciano.flightsimmer.com/Main.htm and get the latest version of f16.gau.  The FSUIPC registration code is on the page.

To get the GPS working open up panel.cfg and delete all of (Window01), the GPS window.  Replace it with (Window02) from the MS panel.cfg.  Make sure you rename the MS (Window02) back to (Window01).
