other planes may not be compatabile with FS2004.
There is an entry in aircraft cfg file that deals with contact points. But I am not sure if you can fix it.
The first entry in the contact points is the one that deals with where the wheels are. You can try to alter the contact point But I am not sure if it will di any good.
But it does not hurt to try.
If the planes you speak of are not for FS2004 then you you may have other issues as well. Jet engines may have holes where the fans should be. If this is the case then there is no way to alter it. 8)
