Refresh Rate

Postby crocker » Fri Jun 11, 2004 5:28 am

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to speed up the GPS refresh rate? When I view the GPS in flight and turn  the aeroplane the 'aeroplane symbol' on the GPS screen takes an age to catch up with the aircraft's new position. I remember in 2002 it was instantaneous with the 'symbol' moving with the aircraft's turn etc.

Off hand I would say no but I am going to look at the actual gauge itself there may be something there that you can edit.
But I do know what you are talking about. There might not be any thing we can do about it but it is worth a look. 8)

Thanks gary. Since posting this subject I had a thought; some are better than others! I seem to remember there being some reference to the GPS rate when I was originally installing FS9, or maybe I'm just fantasizing. I hope you come up with something. Cheers
